International Websites and Links

Postby pm2.5mary » Mon May 03, 2010 9:51 pm

BurningIssues.org The official website of Clean Air Revival, Inc., with sections on medical, legal, science. This wood smoke website site is endorsed by Wayne Ott, Ph.D. of Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA
and a public forum: BurningIssues.org/forum/

Also don't miss: Australia: http://woodsmoke.3sc.net/

The world is on fire: This is where the activists for clean non wood burning energy, fighting OWBs, fighting biomass energy plants, stopping solid fuel for cooking, and stopping prescribed burns are. Please help us grow this list of activists and get involved. If you are not listed and would like to be, please speak up!

Please note: We do not list the industry websites here nor do we endorse the idea that you can go 'chat' with these business people. It is a bad idea.

I wholeheartedly agree with Burning issues not to endorse that one "chat" with the wood burning industry much like what Shirley Brandie suggests in her newsletter. What a waste of time! There is too much to do to tire yourself out writing to these people. Contact and write to the people who could potentially help, not the people who will never change their minds and will waste your valuable time. They are also gleaning information from this and more readily forming their counter arguments. Please put your energies elsewhere.

Thanks for your thoughts on 'chatting' with the industry. You have hit one of the main reasons on the head, in addition to wasting your time they are collecting data on you! We here at BurningIssues.org have also received more harassment from the industry since the rapprochement was initiated. Anyone else have thoughts about this?

There is more work to be done to gather in the list of international anti-wood-burning sites. Also see our page of weblinks in the meantime. [url]http://burningissues.org/car-www/related_links.html

Tired of not having people understand when you discuss wood smoke health effects? Help us get the word out and it does not cost anything! Give our our website: [url]http://BurningIssues.org
