Move America Beyond Oil
http://beyondoil.nrdc.org/

"Voices from across the political spectrum say oil dependence is bad for America's national security,
economy and environment. We have a suite of solutions on hand that can help free us from oil addiction.
By using better fuels, better cars and creating more livable, walkable communities, we can help usher
in a clean, secure energy future for America."

Isn't that one of the advantages of wood heat? It's a completely local resource.

That is one advantage, but garbage or used tires are also a "local resource" why not add those to the fire?

Move America beyond oil, gas, wood, coal, and any type of combustion to generate energy.

From "Solar Roads," (in General Discussion) Just 1.7% of America's roads equipped with solar panels
can supply pretty much all of the country's electricity needs. (Let's listen to E.T.'s '22nd century' opinion)
But not wait that long to get started on this project!
