TSI SidePak and calibration for wood smoke

I would like people to post what they know about setting the calibration to the specific number to read wood smoke. The Rozenberg's told me last evening that this must be understood if one plans to calculate wood smoke PM 2.5 using the TSI SidePak. One cannot just attach the "PM2.5" black side piece and turn on the machine and think it will collect the correct data for wood smoke. The calibration must be set to .3

Also, one cannot rely on having the factory set and reset the instruments calibration. What they set it to may not be suitable to what one is trying to read. From what I understood from last evenings discussion, cigarette smoke and wood smoke have the same calibration number. But, to measure diesel exhaust PM2.5, the calibration would have to be set at a different number.

What does zero calibrated mean?

Does the SidePak have to be calibrated each day?
